'There's a very big difference between stability and stagnation'

I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.—Jack Handey

"People who lose a lot of fat and build a lot of muscle don't do it accidentally or in a half-ass manner. No one has ever made a radical physical transformation by "kinda sorta" wanting it, "watching" what they eat, or "trying" to exercise more.

Real transformation involves laser-like focus, near obsession with diet and training, and a total disregard for what other people may think. (In many ways, you have to remove certain people from your field of influence in order to change.) Rather than a blurry, lackadaisical decision to make changes, the beginning of a successful transformation involves an emotional outburst, usually anger."

EGGS

"A guy training naturally needs whole eggs. What about the reported health concerns? Well, the studies that showed eating eggs raised cholesterol were done by the cereal board. And back then they didn't differentiate between the types of cholesterol, so the studies were invalid. Eggs can raise cholesterol — HDL, the good cholesterol."

'Luck has nothing to do with it. How many people do you know who "lucked" into a muscular physique or a big deadlift? How many fat people have lucked into getting lean? How many skinny guys have accidentally gained a lot of muscle? In reality, it takes focused determination born of a catalyst: a breaking point that ignites anger — anger that then fuels major changes. Most people usually need a personal "Big Bang" to start the fire and get them going. They've got to get frustrated and furious, then they have to channel that fire into productive behaviors: harder training, cleaner eating, a supportive lifestyle. That's a far cry from being "lucky."-Chris Shugart

"When I was young I had many answers & few questions. I knew the best way to do everything. Now I'm older & not sure if I even know a good way to do anything."

Creve's Experience with Endurance Running (Steady State Cardio/Aerobics) UNDER CONSTRUCTION

"People become obese mainly from eating food that is devitalized. They overeat because they are malnourished, and they are truly hungry. People who consume fresh fruits and vegetables don't overeat or become obese because the enzymes, minerals and vitamins are still intact in these foods. When the body has fulfilled its requirement of these nutrients, it signals the brain that it is satisfied. Processed foods lack these nutrients; therefore, no signal is sent to the brain to stop eating."

You do not become overweight on a natural diet. If overweight and you go on a natural diet consisting mainly of raw foods or natural, unprocessed foods cooked as little as possible, your weight rapidly normalizes even if caloric intake exceeds usage!

Eccentricity is not, as dull people would have us believe, a form of madness. It is often a kind of innocent pride, and the man of genius and the aristocrat are frequently regarded as eccentrics because genius and aristocrat are entirely unafraid of and uninfluenced by the opinions and vagaries of the crowd.—Edith Sitwell
