Conclusions from CreveCoeur's research
Creve's Current Philosophy on Health (April 2008)
1) NUTRITION: This is the primary factor in a persons Quality of Life.
If you eat crap you will feel like crap and eventually look like crap. Nothing will affect your well being more than nutrition.
You can train & exercise like an Olympic athlete, but if you don't eat properly you'll feel horrible and quickly injure yourself.
2) Activity: Avoid the discomfort of fitness now and you end up with more discomfort later on in a briefer life.
Strength training will preserve muscle mass and aerobic activity will increase cardio vascular health.
3) Medical Check-Ups: Do yearly Blood Tests.
The male or female panel test at LEF.org would be ideal to track health & Fitness. They have a $198 deal with $75 membership till June 2
Medical check-ups can be beneficial, but most doctors tend to only treat symptoms (Ex diabetes, cholesterol...etc... which mostly can be cured by #1&2 above) and they also over medicate( Is it easier to write a prescription for cholesterol medicine rather than teach nutrition & Fitness to patient)
This is something to important to leave in others hands, listen to their advice/concerns and then research for yourself on internet and evaluate your blood work.
Creve Recommends these tests for men:
CBC/Chemistry Profile Vit. D
PSA (prostate-specific antigen)
Homocysteine
C-Reactive Protein
Free Testosterone
Total Testosterone
DHEA
Estradiol
